Researchers collected information from nationwide surveys of healthcare professionals, quality of care metrics, accreditation data, patient satisfaction data, and results from Patient-Reported Outcome Measures to compile the list.
The Mayo Clinic Rochester in Minnesota was named the top hospital in the world by the metrics. Massachusetts General Hospital finished fourth in the worldwide rankings.
